• Dear Highways Team, I would like to report a significant build-up of litter on the grassed areas alongside the A1. The litter is spread across the left, middle, and right sections of the green verge. I first reported this issue at the beginning of the year, but unfortunately nothing appears to have been done. The grass has since been cut, which shows that maintenance has taken place, but the litter was not collected and remains scattered across the area. When I previously reported this, I was advised that grass cutting and litter collection are normally carried out together. However, this does not appear to have happened, and the amount of litter continues to be unacceptable.
