Highways Maintenance Welfare Unit

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9981820.

There has been a Highways Maintenance Welfare Unit parked in this lay-by on the A27 for months (since at least May). The registration is HN15 XAU. The vehicle is being used as there has been a sun visor placed on the windscreen and removed / windows being opened at all times of the day / engine turned on but the vehicle itself doesn't appear to have moved and there are no apparent road works that would require a Welfare Unit.

Updates

  • Thank you for your report which has been passed to our local inspector to attend the layby and investigate ownership of the welfare van and why it's parked there.

    Once this investigation has taken place we'll arrange suitable mitigation for it's removal if required.
