Pothole

Reported via desktop in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 21:39, Tuesday 11 August 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9934903.

Good afternoon,

During my journey home while on the M3 motorway heading back to Frome (West), I hit a pothole on my passenger side. This happened on the Saturday 25th July around 18:15-18:30pm approx 15 minutes before Fleet services. Due to the nature of the road, I was unable to take a photo of this. The pothole caused my car to make a loud noise and have since been unable to use it. Apologies in my delay in writing to you, due to personal matters I was unable to contact you sooner.

This pothole has caused damage to my car and I have had it fixed this week. The garage have replaced a spring that was been broken on impact. The costs to fix the damage was £352.00 which I have a receipt for.

Let me know if you need any photos evidence for this to help with this matter.

I would be extremely appreciative for you to reimburse me for the damages caused in full.

Please do reach out if you have any further questions. Thank you for your time. I look forward to your response.

Kind regards Nathan Tomlin
