Ridge across both carriageways causing rough travel

On the A46 as you head from Lincoln to Newark, about 1.09 miles before the Winthorpe Roundabout, there is a ridge that has formed in the c/way surface. It appears and feels as if a seam in the surface has buckled, raising a straight line ridge that is quite narrow but is raising in height over time.
This is worse on the Lincoln to Newark route but is also present on the Newark to Lincoln route as well.
I cannot provide accurate measurements but it is a straight line covering both lanes of both parts of the A46 here and the impact can be quite clearly felt when travelling under the speed limit. I would estimate roughly 1-2 inches in height.
