Potholes & Uneven Surface

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 16:37, Wednesday 5 August 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9903690.

Damaging to vehicles now. The Northbound junction of the A56 onto Carrs Industrial Estate has recently been resurfaced by National Highways. However the Southbound has until recently been ignored. The Southbound exit off the A56 Haslingden By-pass, which leads onto Booth Street, is in poor condition and, given the nature of industry in this area using this junction and its slip road, make it hazardous for goods vehicles. There are various pot holes both exiting and accessing the A56 on this Southbound junction - It is clearly in a very poor state on this national speed limit section of bypass.
