Light in during day

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9899490.

Streetlight has been on during the day for close to 4 years. It is unnumbered but between 280/01 and 280/05 on A27 Arundel Road. Is there any plan to fix it?

    Day burning lanterns are an issue across our network. Regrettably, we are unable to address this problem because the lanterns are controlled via a smart node rather than a photocell. The nodes are connected to a wider network which controls light output.

    When there are issues with the network the lanterns default to always on or always off, thus a day burning lantern is not a maintenance priority due to our need to focus on those which are off.

    Long term however this issue is being looked at by a central department.
