Between junction 13 and 12 on the M5 south bound Was travelling at 71 MPH went from the the middle to the fast lane to over take lorry that was overtaking another lorry in the slow lane. As soon as I went over a cat eye in between the middle lane and outside lane I heard a smack. I proceeded to safely pull over half a mile before junction 13. I noticed that my side skirting of my car has come off when it was attached fine before hand. I had to take it off due to it being unsafe and didn’t want it to fall off and hit someone. I looked and there was a bullet size hole in my skirting the bit that broke off. Is there any compensation at all for this?
