Sign Missing

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9873893.

The sign on the North bound carriageway labelled Elwick/Easington Grange turn right is missing and has been so since Storm Arwen There are serious implications for stationary traffic wishing to turn right off of the A1. as this is on a short straight stretch of road with vehicles reaching high speeds. There have been a number of rear end collisions here and it needs to be sorted out. I've reported it more than once and it could easily end up in a fatal
