No Entry sign missing from nearside verge
Reported via desktop in the Damage to Sign (NH) category anonymously at 21:30, Wednesday 29 July 2026
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9868833.
The missing sign has been replaced with a temporary "give way" sign for traffic leaving the A2. This is inadequate, as vehicles have been observed turning onto the slip road from Bonny Bush Hill, Bishopsbourne, others have been noticed performing "u" turns around the grass triangle.

Thank you for your report.
I appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention and we apologise for any concern the missing signage may’ve caused.
We can confirm that the permanent 'No Entry' and 'Give Way' signs located on the centre island at this location were replaced on 2 July 2026. Regarding the temporary 'No Entry' and 'Give Way' signs situated on the offside of the slip road, these signs had fallen over and were recently identified. As an immediate measure, the temporary 'No Entry' sign face was reattached to the A-frame sign on 4 July 2026.
Regarding a permanent replacement, the sign has been added to our replacement programme and will be prioritised alongside other assets requiring attention. While we’re currently unable to provide a confirmed date for these works, we anticipate that the replacement will be completed within the next 3 months.
Whilst I appreciate this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, please be assured that we’ll seek to replace the remaining signage as soon as it’s feasible.
Thank you again for taking the time to contact us
Kind Regards
National Highways
