Abandoned Arctic Lorry Trailer & Fly Tipping

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9859136.

An arctic lorry trailer with a cow print decor, has been parked in this layby for several months. The vehicle has now been broken into and there is a vast amount of fly tipping which has occurred inside the trailer. It is unsightly, a fire risk, an environmental hazard and causing an obstruction to the layby.

  • Fly tipping and Abandoned Lorry is still present in the layby, flytipping waste volume is getting worse. Report was passed to National Highways and subsequently the report was passed to M40 Enquiries to resolve

  • This lorry trailer is still in position and is steadily filling up with fly-tipping to such an extent it now presents a serious fire risk, both to road users and to the Colne Valley Park and footpath U56 next to the lay-by. If it is set alight there could be extremely grave consequences. Please deal with this immediately.
