Speed limit for safe bike crossing

The speed limit needs to be lowered before there is a fatal accident on this road junction. Cyclists are expected to stop and wait for a one second gap to get across part of a motorway. The speed of 50 leading into this junction and then 70 even at the point of crossing is ridiculous. Travelling in the other direction, the speed limit has been addressed and reduced to far more appropriate speeds, but not on the southbound which is more dangerous than the Northbound, where cyclists filter in rather than expected to cross over from fast moving vehicles who are often in the wrong lane and change at the last moment. It is also overgrown and full of debris inviting punctures, so not practical to full intended part, as the speed will be even greater at that point also and visibility from the bend greater reduced.
