Sunk gullys

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 18:12, Monday 27 July 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9855658.

There are are sunk gullys as follows: * 1 nearside on entering from A69W Carlisle * 3 on offside between A69W entrance and M6N slip * 2 on nearside on leaving on A69E to Brampton

So you need to do a comprehensive gully check on all gullys on this roundabout and 40m along each curved approach and exit.

The gullys that are dropped are all in the wheel path on the inside of a bend and thus will be subject to HGV wheel pounding.

Hopefully I will be able to attach photos as a starter.

WHY IS IT NOT POSSIBLE TO ATTACH PHOTOS? YOU CAN FOR CUMBRIA/CUMBERLAND and NORTHUMBERLAND.
