Poor visibility cycle path crossing vehicle access.

Lots of thick shrubs/trees obscuring view for traffic turning left off the dual carriageway into the carpark. A cycle has collided with a car this morning following multiple near misses since this was first reported in 2024, when we first asked if the vegetation could be reduced. It would be better if it was removed or drastically thinned out along the length of the cycle path as cyclists cannot see traffic and drivers do not have enough time to slow while turning without potentially causing an RTC especially if there is another car following them into the carpark. The situation is even worse now with electric scooters and cycles travelling at much higher speeds. Please can this be addressed before someone is severely injured.

Thank you for making your report. We have asked our inspection team to attend this location and assess the issue.
If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we will continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.
Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
