Shattered glass debris on cycle/pedestrian path

Finely shattered glass on the pavement (In fact there is lots of glass along the A30 path on this same side (the burial ground side) all the way from Ashford Hospital to Terminal 4! Could a small sweeper vehicle wizz along here?
