Bridge over M4 on “The Ridgeway”

Hello - I’m hoping you can help me please. Of this odd not something you Would deal with can you please direct me to the correct department and show them this email? Myself and other local horse riders in Wanborough, Swindon want to know how we can request taller barriers to be put on the top of a specific motorway bridge please, so we can safely cross without the fear of having our horses, or us riders, tipped over the edge onto the m4. When you are on a horse you are well above the height of the existing guard rails and very exposed. When we recently rode across there was a driver on the m4 who found out funny to blast their horn at us as we crossed and it caused horses to spook and scatter on the bridge - which bought home just how dangerous this bridge is. We have also had drivers on the street that goes over the bridge (The Ridgeway) try to pass us when riding over the bridge which forces us to ride very close to the barrier. That’s also excessively dangerous and very scary. A bridge further up (near Russley park) has much higher sides which protects horse riders from such danger and is perfect! Unless we use the bridge we have limited access to local Bridleways in this rural area and therefore forced to do more road riding which irritates local drivers, so your help would be very much appreciated. If you’d like me to meet someone there to explain I would happily do so.. I fear that Someone is going to be seriously hurt if it’s left as it is.
