Lights are in the wrong position, Emstry island A5

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category by MR A SHERWOOD at 09:50, Wednesday 8 July 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9752525.

The lights are at the wrong angle heading along the A5, so that fast approaching vehicles can't see if the lights are on red. I travel from Atcham every day and the amount of red light runners is getting worse. someone is going to get seriously hurt!. Today, 8th July 2026, approximately 10 vehicles ran the lights when my approach was on green where several cars had to slam their brakes on to avoid a collision. Yellow boxes been to be applied as drivers sit blocking the route on the island making congestion 10 times worse. It needs sorting.
