Following upgrade work on running horse roundabout. - the rpoute diection sign on slip road towards chatham & m2 is missing

Reported via desktop in the Damage to Sign (NH) category by Ian Ruck at 14:23, Tuesday 7 July 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9748386.

The posts for the missing sign are still in situ, but the actual sign has been missing for sometime. it caused me confusion and didn't know whether to take the m20 which would have taken me towards london - quite un-nerving if you are a stranger in the area. have been meaning to report it for sometime.

Updates

  • Thank you for your report. Having reviewed the signage at the location highlighted on the map, on the eastbound M20 off-slip towards Chatham, we can confirm that there are currently no missing signage assets at this location. If the location provided is incorrect, please resubmit the report and highlight the correct location. If the signage issue relates to the Running Horse Roundabout or the A229, rather than the M20 slip road, this falls within the Kent County Council network and should be reported directly to them. Kind regards, National Highways
