Cones and signs

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9743688.

Cones and signs have been left closing outside lane of carriageway outside of working hours causing severe delays. Lane closure is 8pm - 6am and should not be on the carriageway outside of these hours. Has been like this for 2 days already

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the redundant traffic management equipment. We will arrange for one of our local inspectors to investigate this. Where we have identified redundant equipment, this will be removed. However, in some cases we do leave items in place for future use. Some isolated cones may also be in place for a specific purpose that may not be clear to passing vehicles. Kind regards National Highways
