Changes sequence to Traffic Lights for Grand Prix

Just to let you know, the gentleman controlling the sequences of the traffic light here is causing utter chaos this morning and people getting very irate! Can I ask why they have to be altered now with new improved bypass? The traffic is absolutely fine without altering the sequence. Sorry just feel your causing unnecessary issues and potentially an accident
