Long grass blocking view

The driveway of Tutta Beck farm and cottages is lethal, visibility is very poor when pulling out onto the a66. In addition the visibility at cross lanes junction is also very poor and with such fast moving traffic, crossing the eastbound lane is an accident waiting to happen. The long grass was the cause of 2 accidents at this junction in 2025.
It appears it has been accidentally missed during works as Rokeby junction grass has been moved and I can see that just past cross lanes has also been cut.

We understand the concerns you raise and apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.
We asked our inspection team to attend this location last week to inspect the issues reported and we then requested that our contractors attend and rectify.
Tutta Beck Farm was completed on Monday night (6 July), and the outstanding work required at Cross Lanes will be completed on Friday (10 July).
We’ll then request our inspectors return to review the A66 next week.
