Huge pothole

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9683519.

It is a very deep pothole next to drain which is an extreme hazard particularly for a motorbike going round to join the B1249

Updates

  • Thank you for making your report. This pothole is a recuring issue with a double gully at the bottom of Staxton Hill on the west bound A64. Our inspectors picked this up and instructed a make safe repair.

    A more permanent repair will now be looked into which will hopefully be longer lasting.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
