Signs of corrosion to bridge rebar

Reported via desktop in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category by Oliver Stirling at 20:49, Wednesday 24 June 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9678489.

Bridge carrying Ercall Lane over the M54 shows signs of corrosion in the concrete reinforcement bars, visible from the westbound carriageway. Evidenced by multiple places on the side of the bridge deck where chunks of concrete have come away. This may be cosmetic only but the scale is concerning. I'm happy to provide dashcam footage if required Location: N52.68963 W2.52454
