Request for large roundabout
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9675523.
This is a polite request to ask that there is consideration for this intersection crossing to be changed between the Three Bridges Road and the B4036 (on the A5) due to the amount of road traffic accidents here. There is a vast amount of space here to A: slow the traffic in a controlled fashion for a large roundabout to be installed and B: allow road users to safely navigate this crossing at ease with a roundabout, rather than taking a means of playing chicken with 50+mph articulated lorries and not to mention speeding motorists. With Long Buckby due to receive another 500 homes and the congestion building either side of this fast section of A5 I ask that some thought and potential action is considered here for the future. Thank you
