A frames and cones not removed

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9650027.

Good afternoon. The roadworks on Junction 10 have been completed but there are still temp traffic signs, A-frames, sandbags and cones on the A3 and A245.

I do not understand why the contractors are allowed to leave these on site. I request that this gets sorted out.

The intersection is a brilliant upgrade but it is spoilt by the rubbish left on site. I would have assumed this is required to be removed.

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the redundant traffic management equipment. We will arrange for one of our local inspectors to investigate this. Where we have identified redundant equipment, this will be removed. However, in some cases we do leave items in place for future use. Some isolated cones may also be in place for a specific purpose that may not be clear to passing vehicles. Kind regards National Highways
