A38 Parkway Plymouth and St.Budeaux bypass

Hello highways, as a regular user of both roads while travelling in Plymouth the maintenance and overgrowth of vegetation clearly needs attending to. Arco barriers are over 1 m in the verges, roadsides and safety markers are lost, traffic signage and speed signs are covered in algae or only visible when on the sign. This is a continuous state of neglect and is now getting out of hand. Now mow may is over and see some efforts are being made but the whole roadside along the parkway, junction off and on are wildly overgrown as well as the St.Budeaux bypass, This reflectsbadly on the state of Plymouth and 1st Impression on visits or passing through. Surely we can do better. Many thanks and also, great work on the new Tarmac. Now the signs and verges please.

We carry out regular inspections of all our routes and cut the vegetation back where we find that it is limiting visibility of road signs or other traffic. Your concerns have been passed to our maintenance team. They’ll inspect the area shortly and, if necessary, arrange for vegetation to be cut.
