Grass obscuring line of sight at junction

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category anonymously at 18:09, Friday 12 June 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9569260.

The grass on the junction of the A64 and Low Hutton is so high that it obscures the line of sight eastwards (towards Malton) and westwards up Golden Hill (towards York) making it difficult and dangerous when pulling out of the Low Hutton lane end. The grass also needs cutting along the cycle path and section of verge between this junction and the 50 mph sign westward, because this has also severely reduced the visibility of vehicles approaching from Malton, turning in to Low Hutton.
