Uneven Road Surface - Like speed bump in the road

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 17:24, Wednesday 3 June 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9556168.

The road surface on the bridge deck has undergone a repair some time ago. However over time, the only way i can describe it is like a speed bump has formed between the old road surface and the new road surface. It's like a bridge joint has failed within the road surface causing the tarmac to rise, predominantly in lanes 2,3 and 4 (I'd say lane 3 and 4 being the worst). It has, overtime, got worse and worse. I now believe its at the point of being a safety critical defect. When travelling over this section (Approx MP 65/2A) at 60-70 mph it completely lifts the vehicle. I fear this will cause a serious accident by either unseating a motorbike rider or causing a driver to lose control of their vehicle.
