Hazelmere bridge over the A120 in Rayne has a large drop at each end between the concrete and stone surfaces.

Reported via desktop in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 14:02, Wednesday 3 June 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9553030.

This was raised in January. One of your officers went to site said it was ok. Our ranger has been to site and there is a large drop that could potentially cause someone to fall of their bike, twist an ankle etc. It is also difficult for people with mobility scooters to get up the ramp due to the eroded material. Whilst our ranger was on site he noticed a lady in mobility scooter trying to get up the slope. She had to go the side of the slope and her scooter nearly tipped to the side.
