Regular lorry parking on A14 WBC slip toad

Reported via mobile in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 23:01, Friday 29 May 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9529446.

Yesterday evening another lorry was parked on the A14 slip road WBC at Spaldwick. Not only was it totally blocking the footpath (meaning cyclists or pedestrians wanting to use the footpath towards Easton would have to step round it further into the slip road (still 70mph), round a bend, but the driver had his cab door wide open into the slip road causing even more problems and incredibly dangerous. I have dashcam recordings. This occurs regularly even though there is now a sign!
