Pothole tyre damage

I was unable to inspect the pothole as the location on the motorway slip road was to dangerous M2 junction 4 .

Our team attended the location on 3 June 2026 and identified no potholes on the slip roads that form part of our network. However, a small pothole was observed on the roundabout when approaching from Hoath Way towards the westbound on-slip.
We can confirm that the roundabout above junction 4 of the M2, at Hoath Way (A278), is owned and maintained by the local authority, Medway Council, as advised by Kent County Council (KCC).
As this area falls outside our road network, we are unable to comment on, fund, or carry out any repairs or maintenance relating to the road surface at this location.
