Missing speed limit sign
Reported via mobile in the Sign Obscured (NH) category anonymously at 10:15, Thursday 21 May 2026
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9486176.
There is only one sign stating 50mph on approach into Hull city centre east bound on the left hand side. There is no sign on the right hand side. If travelling in the right hand lane over taking a lorry. It’s easy to miss the speed limit sign as happened to me. When will the second sign on the right hand side be installed?

Is this a change of speed or a repeater. When you are changing from 1 speed to another it should be larger speed signs on both sides of the road at the same point. If repeater no need to be on both sides.

This is a change of speed. I believe there is only one change of speed on the opposite carriageway where it changes to national speed limit too
