Overgrown vegitation limits footway width

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category anonymously at 17:44, Thursday 14 May 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9453859.

Overgrown vegitation limits footway width on south east corner of junction. This is problematic as large vehicles making the right turn from A36 onto Quidhampton road overhang the footway when making the turn thus leading any pedestrians in that location to not have adequate space. Vegetation needs a trim back.

Updates

  • Thank you for making your report. We've asked our inspection team to attend this location and assess the issue.

If any work is needed, they'll arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we'll continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.

Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.

    Kind regards
