Faded Markings on Roundabout

Reported via desktop in the Faded / Hard to see (NH) category anonymously at 08:27, Wednesday 13 May 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9444217.

Markings on roundabout are faded. Those on sliproad are confusing - 2 "straight ahead" arrows and no right turn arrows, despite major businesses being down oil sites road. Near misses from people turning right from the left-hand "straight ahead" arrow daily. Then with the actual markings on the roundabout being faded, people can't tell what the lane is intended for, which would clarify the confusion slightly, although ideally the slip road arrows would include "right turn" arrows where appropriate.

If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we will continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.
