Traffic light timing seems broken. Flickering red.

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9412717.

I drive this route multiple times a week. Usually only queue for a minute or two. Took over 20 minutes to get through the lights today despite light traffic on the roundabout.

Seems like the timing is broken. Only going green for a couple of seconds and the red light was flickering.

Updates

  • Thank you for making your report. We've checked and can confirm we were aware of the lights not working at this location and that is was an issue with the incoming power supply.

    Northern PowerGrid have attended site and completed a temporary repair so the lights should be working and a more substantive repair is being arranged.
