10miles of temporary speed limit

Other reports say youve finished pot hole repairs in March, it's now april and theres 10miles of 50mph speed signs, noone ever working, road looks good and markings all apear to be fine eventhough signs say speed limits for no road markings

    From the location information provided, we believe you’re referring to roadworks that we have in place on the A1(M) southbound from junction 52 Catterick to junction 50 Ripon.

    We’re carrying out resurfacing works at this location. The work will be carried out in two phases. • Phase 1: 1 March – 11 April (Leeming Bar to Ripon) • Phase 2: 13 April - 16 May (Catterick to Leeming Bar)

    To minimise disruption and ensure the safety of our workforce and the travelling public, our works need to be done overnight between 8pm-6am.

    The speed limit is currently set at 50mph between J51 to J50 and needs to be in operation 24/7 due to temporary road markings.
