Loose drain cover

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9332852.

A27 upper Brighton Road west bound, top of Berriedale Drive Sompting loose drain cover, constant banging all throughout the night and daytime, was fixed last year and now loose again, been like this for 4 months

  • Thank you for your report and bringing this noisy cover to our attention.

    Our inspector attended on 27 April & agrees that whilst not a safety issue the covers condition is creating unwelcomed noise. A request has been raised for the cover to be attended to and repaired, though we can't offer a date currently.
