Fence damaged

Reported via desktop in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category by Liz Holland at 16:39, Tuesday 21 April 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9331590.

The fencing at the the end of Grimstead Road at the top of the A36 embankment is missing and children have created a path leading straight down to the A36. I reported this in July last year FMS7873497 but there has been no change. If a child slips down the path (easily done on a steep slope), they will fall into the road.
