Multiple yellow sandbags, cones and a mix of other debris dumped after recent creation of refuge on the M3

Reported via mobile in the Flytipping (NH) category anonymously at 16:49, Saturday 11 April 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9276520.

The organisation undertaking the work should take its debris away to a suitable approved store or dump after the completion of works NOT dump them over the side of the motorway, adjacent to a public bridleway. This bridleway is regularly walked by local residents and is now marred by the unprofessionalalism of the contractor. The debris runs over a circa 250 metre stretch.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the redundant traffic management equipment.

We will arrange for one of our local inspectors to investigate this. Where we have identified redundant equipment, this will be removed. However, in some cases we do leave items in place for future use or for safety reasons.

    Kind regards
