Westbound Matrix always show 40

On the westbound side over the length of the bridge, some of the matrix signs but not all, aways show an advisory 40. I usually drive late in the evening with low traffic, so there is usualy no reason for any advisory. It's also not all the signs. Some of the gantries will only have 1 or 2 of the 3 lanes with the 40 signal. Also it's only some of the central reservation signs that are lit, not all. Either there is always a real 40 advisory, and you have a bunch of broken signs. Or the signs that are showing 40 are broken.

The 40mph speed limit, as indicated on the signs, are required because of the change in route safety due to the removal of the lighting columns. We're working hard to get this rectified.
The 40mph and associated closures on the bridge are also in place to protect the workers that are preparing the site for the replacement lighting columns.
Thank you for raising the issue with signs that aren't operational. We'll look into this and undertake any necessary repairs.
