Pedestrian access is unclear on A57 Mottram Moor

Reported via desktop in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 19:41, Sunday 22 March 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9165726.

Signs advise "PEDESTRIANS USE OTHER FOOTWAY" and "FOOTWAY CLOSED AHEAD" but when using the other footway road workers complain this is a building site. The footway signs are confusing and should state "NO ACCESS" clearly, if there is a risk for pedestrians.
