Potentially a blocked drain

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9124976.

There is water running down the road from potentially a blocked drain. This has been overflowing since December 5th 2025. The leak has been present during the dry periods prior to Januarys heavy rainfall and is present today. When the water reaches the next drain it flows back underground.

Southern water have attended and said the leak is nothing to do with there network and have suggested I raise this with the highways agency.

    Our inspection team are aware of this issue and while it's not currently considered a safety issue, work orders are to be raised for suitable drainage clearance works to be carried out.
