Shallow extensive potholes

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9108870.

Very poor road surface on the bend just after the Midford Road junction on A36 towards Bath. Poor road surface in places for some distance after that.

    We’ve passed your concerns to our maintenance team for further investigation.

    We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect. We know that a damaged road surface can, on occasion, be potentially dangerous and we’ve processes in place to ensure any hazardous defects are repaired quickly.
