Pothole and surface deterioration M28 eastbound

Reported via mobile in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 11:06, Saturday 14 March 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9105577.

Potholes and road surface deterioration eastbound just after onslip from junction 2. This damage is clearly visible to National Highways staff who close the bridge multiple times per week for maintenance, yet they ignore these defects. Soon they will tell us they have to close the bridge further as there is such bad deterioration. Maybe if the issues were resolved sooner when National Highways were already aware of them, this would prevent further damage and more lengthy closures.
