Please read for exact location as area on Old Lane is within National Highways remit.

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 08:06, Wednesday 11 March 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9084808.

I have been advised after extensive research that National Highways own 150 metres of Old Lane. The system doesn't allow you to report it to them but I have been advised the 150 meters takes you to around the turning to Ockham Bites. Any report I have done in this section to Surrey County Council has been closed with a note to say it belongs to National Highways, which leads me to believe this is the correct part under National Highways remit.

There are surface defects and potholes forming (previously repaired and coming away already) by the Ockham Bites turning and as you lead onto the A3 slip road. It is dangerous to loose traction on your vehicle as your approach a junction, especially a road leading to a dual carriageway.

I was advised to report it on here so am doing that as have put the location as the A3 otherwise it won't go through to National Highways. There must be a system error there.

Please could this section be looked at? I have attached pictures.
