Severe potholes

Reported via mobile in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 01:16, Monday 9 March 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9070203.

Deep and ridged potholes in lane 2. Mainly under the bridge of Doddington Road and leading up to it heading toward Northampton. This is very dangerous due to lighting and shadows under the bridge. I was unfortunate to hit one very directly back in January which caused £500 of repairs at the beginning of February, with costs still ongoing but unaffordable right now. I was not able to take photos due to the location and it being unsafe. This has been like this for quite some time, occasionally being covered up but always ending up the way it was again. I would also like compensation for the work I’ve had to pay out due to this and still need to. This one pothole caused lower arms, track rod ends and top mounts to break, and I’m still waiting on a spring replacement. Absolutely unacceptable.
