Noisy rocking manhole covers

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9055773.

There are many manhole covers on both sides of the A 259 Barnhorn Road, Little Common, which rock noisily when traffic is moving at more than a crawl. Eg Eastbound side opposite Holland Avenue, and near No 30; westbound side outside 1066 Kitchens at the roundabout, opposite and just west of Barnhorn Close. You have dealt with another few covers (thank you) but more are moving and the tarmac is cracking around some of them.

    If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we will continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.
