Pothole in lane

In the national speed limit portion of the northbound carriageway, there is a pothole in the left lane that aligns with the offside wheels of most vehicles. The pothole is approx. 1m diameter but deep enough to cause wheel/tyre damage or affect control of a vehicle striking it at speed. It can be seen from a distance, but someone may react too late and swerve into the overtaking lane without consideration for other road users.
