Large, deep pothole between lanes 1 & 2 of northbound M1, approx 1 mile before Trowell services.

Encountered this very large & deep pothole when changing from lane 1 to lane 2 of northbound M1 on Wed 25/02/2026. Pulled into Trowell services to check for damage. Wheels & tyres appear ok, but now have suspension rattle from rear of vehicle, and awaiting damage report from garage. Whilst checking at services, two other vehicles drivers were having to change their wheels having encountered the same pothole. This could easily have caused a serious incident if encountered by a motorcyclist.
