More redundant equipment

Reported via mobile in the Abandoned Materials (NH) category anonymously at 20:55, Friday 27 February 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9014764.

Yet more abandoned road work equipment left by your awful, lazy, good for nothing highways contractors. The mess left everywhere is absolutely disgraceful. Metal signs frames, signs, cones, sand bags, yellow lights etc dumped throughout the road network. Flytipping/littering by YOU.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the redundant traffic management equipment. We will arrange for one of our local inspectors to investigate this. Where we have identified redundant equipment, this will be removed. However, in some cases we do leave items in place for future use. Some isolated cones may also be in place for a specific purpose that may not be clear to passing vehicles. Kind regards National Highways
