2 severe undulations

This part of the road has been like this a very long time. There are 2 sections with severe undulations in the road. As an hgv driver I have to go into lane 2 to be able to pass safely. This is now at a critical point where it will cause arm or injury and god forbid even worse.

Updates

  • Thank you for making your report. We currently have works planned to address the undulations on the main carriageways over the Peartree interchange during the 2027 to 2028 financial year.

    In the meantime, our inspectors inspect the route regularly and if any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we will continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
